Kutja is a traditional Ukrainian ceremonial dish, usually prepared for Christmas Eve. It is made from cooked wheat berries mixed with honey, crushed nuts, ground poppy seeds, and assorted dried fruits such as raisins or dried apricots. The dish is lightly sweet, aromatic, and symbolic of prosperity, health, and remembrance.
